I found out that my wiper linkage may be broken or as the one post i
recieved here suggested that the ball joint may have worn out.
Needless to say I need that part and would like to ask anyone who
might have an eagle or a galant or mitsubishi in this year or
thereabouts to contact me and I would purchase it at a fair price and
pay for shipping. Please let me know. my phone number if you want to
call is

503-720-8508

Thanks,
Steven

You're making a mountain out of a molehill here.

A used link will have the same problem (or be close to having it) as your
current one.

Have you tried calling your local Chrysler dealer to see what a new part
might cost?

Honda parts are generally more expensive than Chrysler ones. The
corresponding part for Hondas is about $30, so I can't see a Chrysler part
being much more than that. It will probably be less.

Sorry Tegger,

I guess the issue for me is how to best go about doing the replacement
myself. Do you know of any online references that would do a step by
step on replacing the linkage? I went to the junk yard today and
couldn't figure out how to get the linkage out without breaking the
plastic netting that surrounds the wiper hubs. I'm a lame so what can
you help me inspite of being a lame?

As I said before, I'm not familiar with how your model is set up. But if
it's like all the others I've seen, you'll need to remove the "netting" to
expose the linkage.
