1995 Olds Cutlass: Dash Rumble/Vibration with Heat/AC Fan on High

I have 1995 Cutlass with the Electronic Climate Control. One day the
heat/AC system worked fine, but the next time I went to use it, I
discovered that when I run the heater/AC fan at medium to high speed,
I get a loud vibration/rumbling sound coming from inside the dash.

At low fan speed, I get air flowing through the vents. But as I start
to increase the fan speed, the virbration/rumbling sound gradually
gets louder, but there is no increase in air flow out of the vents.

Thanks in advance for any ideas on this..

Possibilities include the bearings on the motor going bad, the fan slipping
on the shaft, and a dead animal stuck in the duct.  The good news is that
once you have the motor assembly exposed, it will be very obvious what the
problem is.  The bad news is that you're going to have to get in to the motor
assembly.

yep sounds like you need a new blower motor, or the squirrel cage came
loose.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I will pull the blower motor and see
what I find.
