The shop manual for our 2000 Accord 4 cyl shows a block coolant drain plug
under and to the left (facing toward) of the oil filter.  But the only plugs
I see are the engine oil drain plug, and a 10mm allen head bolt directly
under the filter.  Could it be the allen head bolt, or do some Accords not
have the block coolant drain plug?

Thanks,
Howard

Is this a Haynes shop manual? The plug is to the left and ABOVE the filter.
The plug will be in the water jacket. The oil filter is below the water
jacket.

I understand the plug is above a small lip, so isn't readily visible from
directly below.

You should get about a quart of coolant when you pull it, and it may be
very tight!
