5-10 sec cycle time - goes up to about 2K rpm, then back down to 500 or so.
started couple weeks ago right after last visit to the dealer for a check
engine light (new computer installed)
settles down after warm up, and don't notice it once shifted into Drive

I had a toyota that did this, I found the pcv was plugged. After
replacing it and the hose the car stopped "looping" for me.
Just a guess....
