We just test drove a '95 Saturn SL2 4 door. Every time we drove it over a speedbump the front suspension made what I can only discribe as a crunching sound. Any ideas what that could have been? Does it have mudflaps? My '90 Civic does that but it's not the suspension, it's the little mudflaps behind the front wheels scraping on the speed bump. It had no mudflaps. Thanks for your reply. peter I had a similar experience on a '04 Honda Accord. The right front suspension made a crunching noise when driving over a speedbump. Turns out the strut was leaking and had to be replaced. Probably costs mega bucks if not under warranty.
