I have a 96 T-100 with 140,000 miles on it. I like the truck but it
could use more power. Does anyone know if a Tundra V-8 engine and
transmission can be put into a T-100. I'd like to keep my truck and
just put in a junkyard tundra engine.
why limit yourself to a tundra engine when small block chevies are so
common, or fords, etc.
as your wants for power may escalate the bolt on speed parts are so easy to
come by with them.
just a thought when toyota stuff is so darn expensive.
sammmmm, an oooldd hot-rodder

You could fit a crate BB Chevy motor in a T100 if you wanted to badly enough. I'll bet
one of my friends would do it for a fee...

It should work: There were T100 V8s too. No idea how much hassle
though. I thought someone who actually knows this stuff would
have answered by now. There's probably a toyota group that
could help you more.
