I think I have heard some of the emergency flasher switches are bad, you
might want to cycle that and see what happens....

******(DANGER-WARNING)*******Take it from me, please, get rid of this
piece of junk before it takes all of you hard earned money.  Even if
you have to take a loss, get rid of it and never look back to another
grand cherokee limited-even the newest model(unless you have lots of
money, its under warranty, you like driving dangerously, you have a
second vehicle to use and alot of free time.  And for god sakes don't
let a loved one get behind the wheel of this crap on wheels.

Then there always is the problem of the lose nut behind the wheel....

He has a Jeep Cherokee dude, not a DC's GC.

Do you have one of those converters for a trailer harness?  Had a
friend with an older Cherokee that had that exact same problem,
eventually his lights stayed on all the time, I took a look at the
truck and found the trailer light converter was smoking hot, I took it
out and spliced the wires back where they were from the factory, no
more problems.

good luck,

nate
