brake job on range rover

My son has a 2000 Range Rover that needs brakes, but the local shop guy said
"whoa". Seems the air suspension requires specific handling before you can
jack it up and deal with the brakes. Any insight from those experienced with
these land yachts would be appreciated. Thanks.
