My 4 liter V6 with 50K miles runs fine. But I just had an occassion to
step on it and it bogged and as I backed off the accelerator
it really took off. It is consistently that way. I seldom punch it as I
am a retiree with no reason to get anywhere quickly. I have a
OCD reader and will connect it soon to see what the stored error codes
are. OH, one other funny, recently as I start it and fthe
fast idle takes over, it does not run smoothly . it will almost die and
recover and then go on to finsih the fast idle sequence.
Any ideas on what is going on?? Thanks Darrell in Loveland,C

Does it do it continously in idle speed? Or just for a second on
startup and then return to normal? Also when you say "fast idle" are
you referring to the idle timing? Oh yeah, and if you read the codes by
now, mind posting them?
