Multipart question, but first, the obligatory: 1997 Honda Accord LX,
two Door, 115k miles.
Driver side window lift motor and regulator tore themselves apart
when a cable decided to twist up. After replacing I noticed a number of
electrical items that worked previously had stopped. The dome lights,
the little chime that goes off if I leave my keys in the ignition and
the chime that goes off if I leave the headlights on. Also, the wipers'
intermittent feature no longer works (wipers don't move at all) but
other wiper settings do work. And that little lighted ring around the
ignition.
Question, part one: is there anywhere I can get ahold of wiring
schematics for my car aside from the factory manuals?
Part two: any guesses as to what I screwed up? Another detail: the
lights at the base of the door, or rather, the plug to them, got kinda
slammed in the door when the interior panel was off. I swear, I didn't
do it!
Could I (err, they) have shorted that light out and popped a fuse?
Does Honda really put that much sh.t on a single circuit? No, I haven't
checked the fuses yet because it's raining outside, but I intend to
before I dig around too deeply.

I'm not familiar with Hondas, but it strikes me that everything you have
mentioned has some sort of input from the driver's side dome light
switch. Even the wipers might have some logic that allows them to return
to the parked position if the ignition switch is off and that sort of
logic is sometimes canceled when the drivers door is opened.
Inspect and repair all the connections between that light and the door
switch. Something might be shorting to ground. Also, look around the
window motor and regulator. The repair might have damaged some nearby
wiring.

In the beginning, there was nothing. And God said, "Let there be Light."
And there was still nothing, but you could see it.

Outside of the intermittent wipers most of those things so "light"
related and probably on the same fuse. Thats the place to start...
hopefully the wiper function is tied to that fuse as well.
If you want an accurate wiring diagram the factory manual is the only
way to go. They come up on e-bay fairly often and are more affordable
than new ones.

Yup, all one fuse. I finally got the chance to pick up some new ones
today and that one fuse controlled all of those accessories.
