GMC 3500 Savanna -running rough after fuel pump change

Hello all.. 2000 savanna I have is running like crap since I changed the
in-tank fuel pump... all lines are correct and now the check engine light
is on...What the heck did I do wrong?.....please help.........

ZERO coces...Really...my logitech...or autozones...go figure????

If the check engine light is on, then the computer is saying it has stored a
code. Are you sure you put the correct fuel pump in? The pump for the 5.0
and the 5.7 are different pumps. I have a 5.0 Firebird and they put a fuel
pump for a 5.7 in and it didn't run. Check your fuel pressure and flow.
