Got a '90 Mercury Cougar and it's time to replace the fron brake pads.
When the Ford dealer replaces the pads I get MUCH LESS DUSTING on my
mag wheels. When independants do the brakes I get MUCH MORE DUSTING.
Does anyone know of a good replacement besides the O.E.M. Ford pads.
Maybe something like Bendix or Raybestos?
Thanks in advance for any comments.

Ceramics were specifically developed to offer cleaner wheels.

Why not just use the Ford pads? $73 or so on line.
