I have a Daewoo Leganza SX and my fuel gage reads full when my lights are
off but when I turn my lights on it drops down to empty. I kept it at
3/4full at all times it never got lower then that. What could make it do
that?

Most likely a poor ground that is closely shared by the fuel gauge
circuit and the illumination circuit in the instrument panel.  The
ground failure could be at a fuel gauge attachment screw, a panel
connector, the printed circuit sheet in the panel, at a ground junction
connector, or at a branch ground ring terminal where it bolts to the
chassis.
