Hello

I'm considering the purchase of a '90 Jeep Cherokee.  The vehicle has a
blown ABS pump.  About how much will the replacement of that run me?

Thanks

There is a lifetime recall on that system, see

NHTSA Recall ID Number: 96V260000

Although some parts are covered, the problem is that the entire system,
including hoses
and such, deteriorates and you get a rather extensive list of stuff to
replace.

The ABS system in these is a real piece of crap design and lasted only about
3 1/2 years
before Chrysler went to a different ABS design.

You would be well advised to stay away from this vehicle, and also well
advised
to ask questions like these in the Chrysler newsgroup.

Ted
