My Honda Civic EX (dring mostly between 75m/h and 85m/h in dry conditions)
badly needs a set of 4 new tires due to snow season just got here in Ottawa,
Canada. I need them next week. After doing some research, I loved to have
BFGoodrich T/A H, but they are out of stock online, so I can only pick from
"BFGoodrich T/A T" and Yokohama AVID H4S
H4S is graded at higher speed H and get TRACTION RATING AA, TEMPERATURE
RATING A, by UTQG, but online buyer reviews/ratings prefer BFGoodrich T/A T
better as BFGoodrich is a more known brand and seems to have better gas
milage than H4S.
Anyone used them can share your experience? I bought my current Yokohama LS4
from TireRack.com, when it was best seller. However it is not impressive,
because it had 60,000 miles warranty, but I only used 40,000 in 3 years and
now I have to replace them as they have no tractions now on snow, due to
wear. I am worried those reviews on LS4 are fake. I no longer trust the
reviews on TireRack. I prefer to hear from real people on newsgroups.
Here is the comparison of the 2 tires.

None of these tires are considered sno traction type tyres, the Avids on my
fwd Chevy were horrible in the sno, but no one said they were any good.
