My hopes of buying that $100 U.S. Army jeep in a crate were dashed when
I found out that almost non of them came back from overseas after the
war. Most were junked.
A junk SUV is not worth anything either. Besides, all the information
on how to participate in the auctions is FREE to the public I believe.

GSA and I believe DOD hold regular surplus auctions at which the public
may bid.
Yeah, I looked into surplus jeeps once too. They were pretty much
wrecks...or said another way you had a chance of getting you paid for.
I had hopes of finding that pristine jeep covered in cosmoline the ads
promised. <vbg>
