Tire Inflation Positioning Switch TIPS Pro Service Too
Opportunity (Tire pressure monitoring system -TPM-)
The new federal law requiring new passenger vehicles to be outfitte
with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPM) has produced a wid
variety of market solutions. Many automobile manufactures hav
selected the direct approach that incorporates the use of transmitter
built into the valve stems that transmit information (Inflatio
pressure, temperature, etc) to the engine control module. The majorit
of the direct tire pressure monitoring (TPM) sensors installed in th
wheels of passenger car tires today need to be re-trained each tim
that the tires are rotated
Industry wide, there are a number of systems manufactured today wit
varied techniques including magnetic and electronic frequency senso
triggering as well as multiple frequency bands used to carry th
transmission signal to the engine control module. While TP
manufacturers have designed service tools for their specific sensor
this will result in the requirement for service facilities to purchas
multiple TPM service tools
The TIPS Pro tool is a patent pending product that has been designe
to universally initiate all known tire sensors available in th
marketplace today. The TIPS Pro tool accommodates both magneticall
and electronically triggered sensors so one tool is all you need
Why purchase an initiation tool for each and every sensor in th
market when you can purchase the TIPS tool that will service al
your needs

TPMS sensors dont communicate with the Engine controller. Whats that
got to do with running the engine? Besides, engine controllers have
enough work to do ;)
