My Toyota dealership wants to change me $50 for replace the bulb in the
dome light inside my car and license plate lights. I think the parts
are only $8.

How do I pry the dome off myself? Do I need a special tool? Seems like
a waste to spend $40 on labor I could do myself.

Thanks.

What a deal, considering how much they want to check the air in the
tires!

If no screws are evident, place flathead screwdriver blade between the
headliner and the dome-light housing. Twist the blade. Do this around
the circumference of the housing.  They are snapped in placed with
plastic tabs. In the remote case that u damage any part of the thing,
rely on your local junkyard for parts...Stay away from dealearships!!!!
