fresh air / cooled air is restricted when there are leaves blocking air
flow across / through the evaporator coil.

how is the easiest way to remove the damn leaves?

If they are blocking the evaporator coil, then you just might have to
disassemble the dashboard......you must gain access to the heater box at
the very minimum.

You could try hooking up a shop vac for blowing instead of suction and
blow them from the inside out. You need to get as close to the evap as
possible with the air source and block vents and so on. Be creative on
where to hook up. Also, the leaves had to get in there so you should
check that aspect from under the hood. Expect to remove a screen vent
there and maybe you can reach far enough to help. I'm not familiar with
your vehicle, but some have a flapper door that can be accessed from
beheath, which would allow you to pull debris out there as well.

10-4, if they can get in, there should be an access door, or something
for getting

them out, either rake, suck, or blow. thanks for the suggestions.
