Same question I asked earlier........

How and how much does one get "....compensated...." for this service????
* - 07 May 2006 14:57 GMT
Now I understand why Ol' SPAMMER/SCAMMER Mike has been reluctant to comment
on the "....compensation...." that he mentions......

From the "Terms of Service, here is how participants "pay" for the service.
You will notice that the "customer" sets the price....

http://www.justanswer.com/tos.asp

"6. Fees and Refunds."

You set the price that you are willing to pay for a helpful answer. To
honor the time Experts spend helping you, you are required to accept an
answer if it is helpful. A deposit is required before you may view the
answer to a question you have posted. Deposits are fully refundable. Please
send deposit refund requests to info@justanswer.com. If you do not like any
answers for any reason, your sole remedy is to disregard the answer and not
pay for it. Once you've accepted and paid for an answer, however, no
refunds are permitted or possible. Please review the FAQs for more details
on fees and payment."

----------------------------
So, you could provide an answer that saves someone thousands of dollars,
but they "feel" it's "only worth $5.00"....and that's what they will
pay......but, you don't even get the full $5.00!!!

AND......if they don't like it, they can simply not pay for it!!!!! Even if
it's "spot-on."......and they use it....an "honor system" on the
Internet.....R-i-g-h-t!!!!

GREAT way to earn some ".....compensation......"

Below are some excerpts from the "Expert Agreement" at:

http://www.justanswer.com/sa.asp

• "You hereby grant to Just Answer! a fully-paid, worldwide, royalty-free,
irrevocable license to use, reproduce, display, edit, copy, modify,
transmit, publicly perform or create derivative works of such content and
information."

-----------------
So.....With or without any compensation whatsoever, you give them perpetual
rights to your work...

----------------.

• "7. Fees"

"The fee amount you generate for accepted answers is based on your accept
rate relative to the category average accept rate, as calculated by us in
our sole determination. Upon acceptance of one of your answers by another
user of the Site, we will deposit the following amounts into your Just
Answer! account:"

"We will deposit 25% ($.25 per dollar, plus 25% of any bonus you receive)
of the payment received by the Customer if you are an Expert with an accept
rate below the average for that category. All Experts with an aggregate of
4 or fewer accepts in their category will receive 25% of the payments
received by the Customer regardless of the average accept rate in that
category. "

"We will deposit 50% ($.50 per dollar, plus 50% of any bonus you receive)
of the payment received by the Customer if you are an Expert with an accept
rate equal to or above the average for that category. For those Experts
with 3.5 Stars or more in their category, between 50% and 90% of any bonus
received will be deposited into their account. "

"Once you have more than $20 of earned income (you can not place funds into
your account to reach $20, it must be earned) in your account, just request
payment via the link in your tools menu and we will transfer the money to
you via PayPal on the first business day of the upcoming month. "

"8. Temporary Hold On Accounts"

"In our sole discretion, we reserve the right to place a temporary hold on
your account if we have reason to believe that the funds were earned under
suspicious circumstances or that the funds were derived from a suspect
Customer account."

"We will continue to investigate the situation until we have adequate
resolution, as determined by us, and which may require the involvement of
certain third parties, including any applicable credit card company. We
will make every commercially reasonable effort not to exceed sixty days
hold on your account as we investigate."

"In addition, we reserve the right to remove "earned" funds from your
account to compensate for fraud, returns, disputed amounts, or any
uncollected revenue. To the extent insufficient "earned" funds are in your
account, you are required to reimburse Just Answer! in the full amount
necessary to compensate for such fraud, returns, disputed amounts or
uncollected revenue within fifteen (15) days of written request by Just
Answer! "

---------------------------

Obviously written by a former insurance company lawyer who wants to make it
appear that you're gonna' be covered........but you really aren't....

Looks to me as though one would be taking all the risks yet having someone
else control where the rewards from those risks goes.

As I have stated before.....SPAMMERS ARE SCAMMERS...........
