Sirius satellite radio antenna install help needed

Hi

I'm trying to install the magnetic antenna mount that came with my Sirius
satellite radio and I need to route the thin antenna cable along the rear
window underneath the rubber molding. They say to use a plastic knife or
other blunt object to lift the rubber window molding and tuck the cable
underneath. Getting the molding "lifted" is not so easy, plus I'm afraid I'm
going to damage it.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks!

BTW, I forgot to mention the car is a 98 Buick Le Sabre 4 door sedan.

You could try a plastic paint scraper, which has a bit longer edge to
lift the molding away with

Couple of suggestions for you...   Your ant. may work fine if you just
put it on the parcel shelf in the back.  Mine is very happy there and
I very rarely get dropped signal.  You can also go in from the trunk
lid and run the cable around the side of the back seat.  I saw those
instructions about going through the window gasket....  Can't figure
how they think people are going to do that and not cause leaks.

I tried putting the antenna underneath the front windshield, which on the Le
Sabre has a pretty sharp angle, as far forward as I could. The reception
seems to be excellent. I'll try it for a few days and see. Thanks for the
tip.
