Does anyone know if there is any difference between a "water temperature"
gauge and a "transmission (fluid) temperature" gauge, other than the dial
face and the price?

It seems they both perform very similar functions.

   My major was ME, not EE; however, my hands-on degree tells me either
should work for either.  I'd trust such on my car.  sdlomi
