Hello,

I would like to remove the 12v battery from my Ford and put in a new one.
Do I just unscrew the clamps (+ve and -ve)?  Any precaution I have to watch
out?  I have never done this before.  I helped to jump start a dead car
before and saw sparks coming out from the clamps when they are touching each
others.   I don't want to get shocked and damage the vehicle.  Any
recommendation is greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Disconnect your negative cable (-) first, set it aside where it won't
contact the battery. Then disconnect the positive (+) cable being careful
not to touch the negative terminal with the wrench.

Reverse to install.
