I have a 96 Ford Ranger.

It keeps beeping indicating that the door is ajar.  When it really is not.
This problem comes and goes.
Also, recently, the dome light will flick on for a minute.  Also, The
headlights flicker on for about 10 seconds the other day, and then came back
on.

What do all these problems mean, How do I resolve this problem?

It means you have an electrical problem you are not qualified to diagnose or
repair.

Take it to a shop capable of or specializing in electrical problems.

.. "Spray WD-40 into the hole were the contact switches are. I have
done this with my door lights and it works without fail"
