Programming Keyless Entry Fob

Can anyone tell me how to program a keyless entry fob for a 1996 Olds 88?

   Just had a '95 Riviera(different animal, I know)done, and the procedure
required use of the hand-held "Tech ?" computer GM uses.  My bet is the '96
Olds requires the same.  s

That's what I'm beginning to think.

I tracked down some step by step instructions on the net,but it also
included a warning that stated "if your not very careful about which wires
you connect the jumper between,you are running a very high risking of doing
severe damage to the DLC & the vehicle wiring in general."

With my life being the tribute to Murphy's Law that it is I'll let Mr.
Goodwrench handle it.
