How much is the bet for? I get 20%...
The lights are the same, but the lens is designed to illuminate the
right side further out than the left side (in the US...) That way you
may see a waker, animal, or other hazard on teh side fo the road,
without blinding the oncomming traffic.
From above the pattern is supposed to be:
___XX
__XXXX
__XXXXX
__XXXXXX
__XXXX
__XX
The underscores are where there is no light (just to space the Xx
correctly.
Some aftermarket lights from Europe/England do just the opposite and
are not really good for around the US.
No, some sealed beam lights have a cut off in height, but there is no
right or left bulb or aiming. They are supposed to be lined in a
straight line from the vehicle and down x number of inches from
horizontal at 20 feet.
The molded lenses that you just change the bulbs might differ.
I personally aim my passenger light 'slightly' off, but it isn't the way
the repair books or vehicle inspections say to aim them.
I have a set of high powered driving lights and I bias the passenger one
for the woods way up ahead, always have but leave the stock ones almost
alone.
