My car would crank and not turn over, but this was after it was driven a few
miles. After turning off the car and trying to start it again it would crank
and not start.  After eliminating the fuel pump as the problem I started
thinking electrical.   Turned out my crank position sensor was bad.  I would
check the crank position sensor and then the cam sensor for just the heck of
it if your Z24 has these.  Then move on from there.   In my case without a
computer code showing to the exact problem my dealer and his so called
master mechanics he told me he had couldn't fix the problem.  A day of
troubleshooting with a digital miltimeter and my haynes manual I fixed the
problem myself.

Thanx Shadowz but I finally got it started after letting it sit for a
couple days but the problem is more serious I think. I believe it's a head
gasket now. When it starts it spits white smoke out of the exaust, it leaks
antifreeze like hell and the antifreeze (which is new) now smells of gas. I
can't tell if the oil has antifreeze/fuel in it yet but I'm guessing it
does. So again I ask what does anyone else think?

Time for a rebuild... <g> It probably is the head gasket. There may be
other damage as well. You won't know until you tear it down. You may
see minor scuffing on the cylinders where the coolant has seeped in.
If they are not serious, ignore them.
