I remember seeing a lot of Thorsen in the Mid.50s think they are cold forged and were mostly was sold at
discount tool stores. Today the stuff that is shipped in from China is being sold at the same discount tool
stores. I am thinking you have some nice tools to loan people who show up at your door needing a tool. <smile>

well evan if they are low quality their older and that gives them a
little character. that and they cost me $2and been pretty reliable i

Not implying anything about their quality. They were just sold at many discount tool stores in 50&60s I have some
also never had any problems. I also have an old Wizzard wrench they were sold at Western Auto Stores in 40&50s And
the many tools coming from China are pretty well made now days. They sure have given a lot of people who could never
afford some types of tools a chance to own them.
They are worth a buck.
