Auto Enthusiasts, WE NEED YOU!
DIYAutoTech.com is a new website, just recently launched, that provides
online automotive repair guides, technical service bulletin data, recall
notices and other repair information.
Since we just recently got started, we are looking for people or
companies to help us grow our selection of online automotive repair
guides. All that is needed is the knowledge to perform an auto repair
job on a car or truck 1995 or newer and a digital camera to document the
steps.
In return for step by step instructions and digital photographs that
show the work being done, WE WILL PAY YOU 25% royalties from each
individual sale of the guide you helped write. As an added bonus, after
you submit your first guide, you will receive a free DIYPass which will
allow you to view any of the guides available on DIYAutoTech.com.
Please view http://www.diyautotech.com/contribute/ for more information
and a form that you can fill out if you would like to become a
contributor to DIYAutoTech.
This is a legitimate offer from a real website. We will never ask for
any money from you, only the time it takes to take photographs of an
automotive repair and write the step by step instructions.
Thank you very much for reading. If you are interested, please view

Now, THAT sounds fair and equitable........earning 25% of what I generate
in income......
I'd rather set up my own website and collect 100 percent.....Thank you!

That's a real nice picture of someone standing under a car and
grinding away.. the shower of sparks photographed really nicely..
HOW ABOUT SOME SAFETY GLASSES!!!!
Spend a few thousand on a lift, some more coin on power tools, but not
$5 for some safety glasses. What is this, the Homer Simpson rule of
safety?.. "When the sparks get too close, turn your head and squint.."
Having said that, I think the site has potential. I looked at the
sample guide; spelling does count for me 'so a new gasket is not
usually necesary', and some steps seem to be missing, like making sure
to specify that the engine needs to be running with the trans
(probably) in park or neutral to check for full.
If I need to do something simple I might grab the digital camera when
I do it.. I'd just use a factory repair guide for the words and photo
the appropriate things.

I don't get it. On this URL:
http://www.diyautotech.com/contribute/
you say:
Who are we looking for?
We are looking to partner with auto shops or individual car enthusiasts to
write auto repair guides for our site.
Then on this URL:
http://www.diyautotech.com/listguides
you say:
Our auto repair guides are written by automotive professionals.
So, how do you get from a car enthusiast to an automotive professional?
