I have a 96 Chevy Blazer.  No matter where I set the fan direction to for
the ac/heat it will blow from the defrost and out at the feet.  Where
would I start to trouble shoot this?

Look for disconnected vacuum hoses under the hood, especially if you've had
any work done on the engine lately.  Maybe a rodent has climbed up under the
hood and gnawed through a hose somewhere.  Anyway, sounds like you're not
getting proper vacuum to the AC control switch.
