Just purchased a 97 PLymouth Breeze a few weeks ago and am now noticing a
chirping noise coming from the driver side front wheel area while the car is
in gear and the accelerator is pressed. I can shift into neutral while
moving and rev the engine and the sound disappears. sound also persists and
doesn't change while turning. It only makes the noise after I go over about
45 miles per hour and doesn't seem to make it when driving in the city. Any
ideas? (105,000 miles, automatic transmission)

Well I'm guessing you are asking, before you spend money on having
someone professional look at it.

I'm not a professional mechanic, but in my adventures of repairing my
own cars, I have noticed that when my cv joint failed(boot tore) it
made weird noises depending accelerting, decelerating, and turning.  I
would take the time to peak under there for that.

BTW, if you can't safely work on a vehicle, then don't.
