GrandAM GT: Can't unlock glove compartment

Hello,

I have an odd problem with my GrandAM GT. The glove compartment worked
fine for about nine months; now I can't seem to open it. It seems to be
locked; but the key only goes in three-fourths of the way, and it turns
fine, but nothing happens.

I don't want to break the glove compartment, so I haven't really
tinkered with it. Any ideas?

Are you using the original key or a copy?
