2000 Eclipse question

Hey guys,
I was thinking about purchasing a 2000 Eclipse GT 6cyl from this guy by
me. Right now the price is at 9.5k. The car's got 63k miles on it. Do
you guys think thats a fair price for it? Also, are there any problems
I should be aware of with this car? I noticed a few complaints around
the web about rust and the rims giving out or something. Being a
college student I dont exactaly have lots of money to spend so this is
going to be a big purchase for me and I dont want to see something
going wrong with this car in like a week leaving me screwed! Thanks!!

for pricing, check kbb or edmunds for avg. price. the price a vary due to
condition of car, repair history, market appeal. Try to get as much
history of car, repairs, maintence records, etc. Was it raced? Allot of
factor to consider in the price.
have a mech check out the care prior to purchase.
Remember, you are buying a used car, so expect some repairs, if not now,
later down the road.
So don't spend all you $$$ on the car, have some reserve, incase of a
breakdown down the road.
