I want to fly to England and buy a car and and have it shipped over to
the usa
it will be over 25 years old.  does anyone know how to do this?  If you
do please tell me step by step,

specificall, what do i need to do once i pay for the car at the dealer?
what documents do i need.  How do i get a shipper and what do i do when
the car arrives at the port in the USA
thanks

Best possible advice.

Call the US customs/immigration people and ask for the rules in
writing.   This is the only way to get the correct do's and don'ts
with no surprises.   Also ask about all duties, taxes, levies, etc.
Be a shame to go to all that work and expense only to find out that
the car will wind up at the shredder because you did or didn't do
something.
