Hope this doesn't sound too dumb, but I heard the Lincoln Town cars and the
Mercury Marquis have the same engines and transmissions.  Does anyone know
it this is true or not?  Thanks for any input on this.

the town car, marquis, and crown vic are all panther body fords, and  share
most of the same parts to keep costs down, including the 4.6 liter motor,
trans, and electronic controls.
