will not go into gear other then reverse. Fluid level is good, vacuum is good. no "burnt" smell. anyone have any suggestions on what to look for next? It's my plow truck and I live in Upper Michigan. LOTS of snow. Need my truck. It's a 78 Ford Ranger with a 351m/400. Any help will be greatly appreciated. If you want, post this question on my board, we have several mechanics on there who answer questions all day long. I would answer the question but I don't have any idea what could be wrong.
