What should a driver do if they are going down the highway at about
60mph and their engine falls out of their car?  Obviously you cant
keep driving, so what should you do?

Of course I'm serious.  Engine mounts do break, and the wiring harness
abd radiator hoses are not going to keep the engine in the car.

LOL!

No, but the other mounts and the tranny mount will still be there as
well as the frame crossmembers.

Engine mounts also have safety catches on them so when the 'rubber' part
shears or fails, the metal hook or loop will still hold the engine in
place. The engine will bang around, but it ain't goin nowhere....

I have had many failures of engine mounts because I run high traction
tires in high torque situations.  The worst on this vehicle was the
first mount failure because that engine mount was in upside down so the
safety hook didn't grab.  This allowed the engine to drop enough to
damage the oil filter, but it still didn't drop enough to hit the cross
member under it.

The worst one I have heard of was my Dad's Ford Taurus.  The whole damn
front subframe fell out onto the ground taking the engine with it.  His
steering locked and there was absolutely nothing he could do until he
slid to a stop.

This guy is right it is not possible for the whole engine to fall out of
the car. The frame will keep it there and besides you have to lose the
frame to
