This years I have to travel around 1800 miles and i have to take my truck
with me.  Well, the problem is that I like to tow my SUV which has
automatic transmitions and I do not know if I pull it that far may cause
problems to it.  Please if someone know about this help me because I do
not know what to do.

You need to be model specific.  Some are fine to tow, most have special
instructions for what gear and how long between stops to run the engine
and tranny to avoid burning things up or even to disconnecting
driveshafts for the tow.

My Jeep say to stop every 200 miles and to put it in a certain gear
selection combo then run it to lube the t-case parts.
