I have a 92 Buick LaSabre that has problems starting when weather is warm.
In the winter months car starts fine.  I can drive 40 miles to work when
warm out and make a short stop to get gas and car will be ok for the rest
of the trip but if I drive around town and stop for longer period of time
to shop or visit family or friends car will either not start for a while
or will start and will die on me before I get back home.  Sometimes it
will start right back up but will keep dying or will take 10 minutes or
longer to cool down before restarting but will still keep dying on the way
home.  I have changed fuel pump, fuel filter, ignition module, heat sensor
switch.  If anyone can help me solve this problem I would be very happy.
I have been dealing with this problem for 2 years now.  Not much driving
gets done in summer months unless going to and from work.

I think the coil is bad.

Im not sure if this applies...but I once worked on a car that had the same
symptoms..
you dont say what kind of engine...is it TBI (Throttle Body Injection)?
turned out there was a break in the windings for the injector (the fine wire
that creates the magnetic field for opening the injector nozzle)...when the
vehicle was warm the wire would expand and lose contact at the break..when
the vehicle cooled the wire contracted and made contact again (drove me nuts
finding the prob).
run a resistance check on the injector while the vehicle is cold..compare
the the reading when the vehicle dies
good luck
