I can't get my 1993 Chevy corrsica to start.
I've ruled out fuel related problems as I'm not getting any spark to
the sparkplug wires.
What kind of electrical problem lies underneath all that cluster-f.ck
of wires and hoses in the engine compartment could I be having?
Please let me know.
I'll assume you have the 3.1 engine. On the side of the block between
the engine and firewall just barely over the rightside half shaft
transmission extension is a crank sensor. Follow the shielded wire
coming over the top of the engine at the front (belt side). If I
rememeber correctly, it takes a 8mm socket to get the one screw out to
replace it. A hoist would be nice.
Also the coil pacs are mounted on the opposite side of the block
between the block and radiator. If you are experiencing intermittent
misfiring, this is the most likely suspect.
3.1 is not a bad engine but a real crappy layout for electrical stuff.

Yes there is a lot of crap in the way. I have a hard enough time just
changing the sparkplugs.
What could be wrong with it?
Does this car have a cap and rotor?

No cap or rotor. This is a DIS (discharge ignition system). It gets
the # 1 signal from that sensor buried in the side of the engine
block. Sensor craps out, engine no start. About 30-40$ for a
replacement.
