chrylser 300 5 speed automatic

I just rented a 300 for the day and im going to be doing a lot of
highway driving... will using the number 4 gear on ther 5 speed
automatic save me on gas?  or should I just keep it in d?

What part of your brain thinks that staying in 4th gear on a five
speed trans saves gas?
