I have some electrical glitch in my 1993 Taurus. Interior lights have
sometimes stayed on after car off/key removed. So for overnight I pull
the apprpriate fuse - no problem.

A week ago I forgot. When I started the car next day (thankfully it
started) , and ever since, my air bag light flashes intermiantly all
the time I'm driving. Usually one flash, then two after a second or
twom then a break, then repeat.

The manual says to get the system serviced for this. But is there any
danger? Like the air bag deploying while I'm driving?

Yes, there is a degree of danger that the airbag will fire at any time.
The vehicle's obvious electrical problems significantly increase the
danger.  The "flash pattern" is significant.  You should call a dealer
and find out what it means BEFORE driving the car again.  Or...just
continue to take your chances....its up to you.

I glad that the responses for this post say get it checked.   The last
guy to post about a flashing air bag lite got  redneck 'no problems
don't worry' .   Flashing lites are  more serious than steady lites.
Get it corrected or disconnected/removed.  The alternative is to find
out how to lose control of the car if and when that bag fires in your
face and scares the hell out of you.  If your really lucky, you won't
actually kill someone.   And carry a jug of clean water with you.  The
powder used to lubricate the bag on deployment will blind you and you
will need to wash the crap out of your eyes.  Read the warnings on air
bags.

Enjoy

Or just rip the POS out of your car.  Airbags are a joke, and are
dangerous.  They cause more accidents than they help in an accident.
There is no way I will own a car with one.  They are removed the day I
buy the car.  All they are is more governmental regulations to protect
the insurance companies from having to spend a buck. The brilliant
scientists that developed them insist they save lives, and the
government buys into the lie.

By the way, why dont you just put a switch on your dome light?  You
can buy an aftermarket dome light with built in switch. Of course you
could fix the door jam switch that is most likely causing the problem.

Reguardless of the Danger, it is commonly understood that driving with
a faulty SRS is dangerious. See your dealer.
