Is there any specifics about the Honda for which it would be best? I would
like to have eith a front wheel drive car with around 300Hp or a all wheel
drive car with around 400Hp if not more than that. So are there any cars
that this is feasible with that isn't brand new. I don't want to have to
spend $30,000 just to buy the car in the first place and then stick
another $20,000 in it to make it look and perform how I want.

Guess you didn't like my Model T suggestion <G>

Actually, the model-T idea is great. The OP can make a t-bucket, put in his
big powerful motor, get RWD or AWD and still do it on a reasonable budget.

Not really. I don't want an extremely old car. I would prefer atleast a
1990 or newer. Something I more familiar with.

You use the body from the model T, but the suspension and drive train is
from a more modern car.

Where would I find the body of a model T in a good shape? Won't I have to
basically redo everything though?

Do you know how much it would approximately cost to completely redo a
Nissan 240sx? And I'm talking about redoing it with the best of everything
possible for it to get the best out of it.
Jeffrey DeWitt - 02 Feb 2007 00:22 GMT
You don't want to use an original one, they are probably too rare these
days, too expensive and would probably need a lot of work to make it
look right, but there are lots of alternatives.

If I had the time, money and a place to do it I'd LOVE to build a
T-Bucket Roadster, and just to confuse everyone I'd put a warmed up 289
in it... a STUDEBAKER 289<G>.

Is it possible to change a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS into a GSX?
