My check engine light came on andthe engine code is P0715. The read
says, "Speed sensor circuit malfunction". I bought a new transmission
speed sensor and installed it and reset the check engine light. The
light came back on with the same code. What other possible causes
should I look for?

1. How many "speed sensors" does your vehicle have? Mine has 6:
Crankshaft, transmission, and on each wheel for the ABS. Did you
replace the correct one?
2. Did you verify the circuitry between the sensor and the computer?
By disconnecting the computer's connector, checking continuity/
resistance pin-to-pin?
3. This sort of thing is very hard to do without the factory shop
manuals and schematics. Sometimes dealers are helpful if you ask
intelligent, pointed questions; sometimes public libraries have
factory shop manuals.
Good luck.
