A 1999 metallic grey Volkswagen Golf believed to have once belonged to
the Pope went up for sale on eBay, but the auction ended without a
winner.

..Though bids surpassed $204,000, a reserve price was not met by the
end of the auction on Saturday.

I'm a practicing a Roman Catholic but I can't see why anyone would
want to buy a grey, 1999 Volkwagen Golf for more than $15,000 - even
it used to belong to the pope. Who cares who it belonged to? It's just
a car, and an ugly one to boot.

Even so, I still wouldn't pay more than the car is worth. I don't have
to pay to see the pope - and if I did have to pay to see him, I
wouldn't.

The hell you don't.

You're a practicing cath-o-sheep.
How much money have you given to the
kiddie boinkers?

Most priests are not pedophiles and I think most people realize that.
Certainly, none of the priests in any of the parishes I have ever
attended has ever been charged with pedophilia.

Now, there are pedophiles in society at large. I may have
inadvertently given money to one of them while he or she worked in a
business. I have met pedophiles. One was a teacher. The other was
retired at the time of his arrest. In his case, the relevent fact was
that he was related to his victims.
