rear main seal can't be fixed?

'96 non turbo 5 cy glx 850glt volvo with 130k...highly
maintained..developed a
rear main seal leak...took to
mechanic...returned dry...about 300 miles
started leaking again...returned to
mechanic...same deal....3rd
time...just back last night...appears to have
oil on case spit location
on bottom of engine....hosed off and about to
drive a few
miles....help!  is this sealing a problem? i was
under the impression
that this was a "click-click" fix......you pays
your $$ and it's dry for
another 130k miles.....please enlighten
me................experiences?
suggestions?  obsrvations?
fixes?

Sounds like you need a new mechanic.

There are anerobic sealers to put on the parting lines, after you clean them
up, then re-install the rear seal retainer.

Might be high crankcase pressure.
Have the mechanic check the crankcase breather and/or pcv system.
