Opinions Sought:  Cars With Worst Steering "Feel"

Just curious!  I own a 2005(Epsilon-based) Malibu with the electric
variable p.s., and it's O.K.  Decent return from turns, and reasonably
tight & centered at anything over 40mph, but a little *vague* when
doing s-turns up and down the shopping center lot.
I need opinions on cars under $30,000 to avoid if it's tight,
responsive steering that I crave.
Additionally, you can submit all the "worst car to steer" horror
stories you like!

thanks,

I drive plenty.  Maybe it's just that my OPINION is recognized by
myself as being relevant to MY driving experience only, and doesn't
pertain to the driving experience of anyone else.  That being said
then, my OPINION on what constitutes a positive driving experience
does not, and should not mean squat to anyone outside of my own
corporeal entity.

Maybe others feel similarly, which would explain the lack of
enthusiastic response to your somewhat vague and nebulous query.

___________
"vague & nebulous"??  You must be kidding.  I just described, both my
Best and Worst threads, what I felt, based upon my experience, were
cars with both good and less than ideal steering characteristics.

I think most people who drive know what represents good
steering(feedback both from the road and the vehicle itself - just the
right amount of power assist at a given speed, etc.)  And surely there
are cars out there that by a good degree of common concensus among
drivers represent both groups.

I'm sorry you aren't able to grasp this.

Any others?

... all of which goes so very far in explaining the hotbed of activity
that your post has generated.
