I bought a new Toyota xle and had to return it 3 different times for the
following
1. The passinger side seat belt in the rear would not work---dealer had to
order one and I had to return. When I did it took 2 hours to repair
2. I noticed when I closed the front passinger door it rattled---I took it
to the dealer and they told me I did not have the window all the way
closed--- I guess this must be closed all the time because they did not fix
it
3. I tried to listen to a radio station I used to get on my old car but I
could not get it. I took it to the dealer and had to wait while they found
the problem---guess what--- they found that the factory forgot to stick the
antenna wire into the radio
NOW I will have to bring it to the dealer AGAIN because when I opened the
glove compartment the lock fell out of the door !!!

All companies occasionally make a lemon. From personal experience I can tell
you that yours is not the first lemon Toyota has cranked out and it probably
won't be the last. If your dealer won't satisfy you, try a different
dealer.

Besides that, Mrs. Lincoln, What did you think of the play?
On the door rattling when the window is not all the way up, I'd get
a salesman to get the keys to a car on the lot, and see if it is the
same. Sounds to me like they didn't know what to do to fix it.
If other cars don't rattle with the window open, I think it is time
to talk to the service manager, and if no action is taken, talk to a
region service rep, which I would do anyway if there are any more
problems.
