Lumina minivan power windows problem

Hello,

I have a '95 Chevy Lumina minivan 3.1L.  When I bought it (used) I noticed
that the automatic part of the driver side window didn't work.  The window
would roll down but I couldn't do the 'one touch' to make it roll down.
Then one day it worked and then the window wouldn't roll up.  I played
around with it for a while and I learned that the contacts were sticking.
If I tapped on it the contacts would unstick and the window would roll up.
Now the contacts are stuck and will not unstick and I can't get my window to
roll up.  I am going to search the junkyards to find a new switch panel this
week.

My question is how, exactly, would I go about jumping the switch or motor to
get the window to roll up?

Thanks,

PR

The motor is isolated ground.  Powering up one side and grounding the
other makes the motor go.  Reversing the power/ground makes it go in
reverse.

There are two wires coming out of the motor.  Take the door panel off
and unplug the connector.  Using jumper wires, to the two wires ,
touck them to a battery  (- & +).  The window will go up or down. If
down, reverse the connection at the battery.

Pete
