Hi,

There are some breakthrough products at the moment thanks to
nanotechnoloy.  Mercedes apparently now have an extremely scratch
resistant clearcoat which they are now putting on cars in their
factory.  It has ceramic particles incorporated.  I think Dupont have
something similar which Ford are using.

A friend of mine says he saw a tv ad in Germany for a product that you
can put on scratches in  clearcoat for a permanent repair.  I have been
trying to find this product.  I have found what looks like an excellent
US product called "Glare" which is made from Glass plexin.  It "only"
lasts for 5 years though.  I know that is extremely good but I am
looking for something which is really permanent.  Has anyone heard of
such a product?

Cheers Chris

Sounds like "Glare Spider" swirl mark and scratch remover ... from the
same distributor.
